Listen to the new ep
After a year of writing 25 songs, it was time to bring the music into the world to share with others. These songs have been a labor of love – both as a therapeutic exercise and as an effort to make sure the subconscious isn’t bombarded by too much negativity. There will be an upcoming series of posts and potentially videos called “Stories Behind the Songs”, where I will address the songs and where the inspiration came from. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these!

In addition to creating music, Halfton Tiger is creating music video content to share on YouTube, Facebook, and soon, Instagram. After all, music and video go together like a-spaghetti and meatballs. Here’s a sample of the work that’s already out in the world, and there will be many more to come!
about
Thanks to heavy influences of artists like Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, and The Script, Connecticut-based artist/producer Halfton Tiger delivers a blend of catchy stuck-in-your-head melodies, smooth Jason Mraz-esqe vocals, and bright and poppy instrumentation that is sure to please the eardrums.
After spending years performing with Brian Jarvis, opening for artists like Sister Hazel, Vertical Horizon, and Brendan James, musician/multi-instrumentalist/producer Michael Provenzano decided to start his own project, Halfton Tiger. In 2018, he produced the EP titled For Friction, a collection of songs inspired by positive and negative life-events, including losing a job, the highs and lows of relationships, and resisting anxiety and depression.
